Forbes’ annual list of richest figures in hip hop, otherwise known as the Forbes Five, recently showed Jay to take the No. 2 spot from Dr Dre. His net worth is not sitting at an estimated $810 million dollars – a $200 million dollar increase from last year – with Diddy taking the crown at $820 million. Jay’s net worth got a boost from Sprint’s $200 million investment in Tidal which boosted the company’s worth to $600 million. Diddy’s net worth is thanks to his ongoing deal Ciroc and his Revolt TV business and the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour. Dr Dre is too far behind – he’s sitting an estimated net worth of $740 million thanks to his smart move with Beats by Dre. Birdman is sitting pretty at No. 4 with $110 million. Drake rounds of the Top 5 with $90 million.
