“Spider-Man: Homecoming” star Tom Holland recently paid a visit to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where he got the chance to meet some of the young patients.
The 21-year-old actor toured the ward in his complete Spider-Man costume and removed his mask to talk to some of the kids and their parents. He also posed with them for photos. At one point, Holland explained how his web-shooters work to one patient and surprised others when he did some side-flips in the corridor.

This is not the first time that Holland dropped by a children’s hospital to cheer some of the kids up. According to Entertainment Weekly, he also visited Eagleston Children’s Hospital while he was still filming “Spider-Man: Homecoming” in Atlanta. A few months later, he also dropped by New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, where he met a young boy who insisted that Batman was much better than Spider-Man.
At the time, Holland asked Nicholas, “Do you like Batman better than Superman?” and the young boy nodded his head. Holland replied, “Ouch,” but took the comment in stride.

In fact, Holland recently expressed his desire to play the role of Batman or James Bond in the future. While speaking with Interview magazine, Holland’s co-star Zendaya asked him what role in an iconic movie he wishes he could have played. “James Bond. Or maybe I’ll do Batman,” he answered.
Zendaya replied, “It would be so unfair if you got to play Spider-Man, James Bond and Batman, Tom.”
Holland, however, gave her a cheeky response. “It would be so unfair. But life isn’t fair, Zendaya,” he said.

“Spider-Man: Homecoming” is slated to hit theaters in the United States on July 7. The film will follow the life of a much younger Peter Parker than the ones introduced in the first few “Spider-Man” films. In “Homecoming,” Peter will try to come to terms with his new identity as Spider-Man and will receive training from Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). The superhero would have to put his powers to the test when Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges to destroy everything that he holds dear to his heart.
